1. 1.What is the best and the worst job (paid or volunteer) that you have ever had?
- What were some of your primary responsibilities?
- What made the job enjoyable or not?
- What skills did you develop that will serve you well in internship?
- What lessons did you learn about the workplace and yourself?
The worst job I have ever had was being a gardener; my responsibilities were to take care of the equipment and mow the lawn. It was not a fun job I had to wake up early and work in the hot sun. Some skills that I picked up from this job that could help me in my internship are doing what I am told and do it right the first time so I don’t have to redo it again. I learn that work is hard and that sometimes a work place is unfair, I learned that I needed to work hard and be responsible to be a good employee.
The best job I have ever had as working at a bakery, my responsibilities were to make bread and to clean up my working area. What made this job enjoyable was that while my coworkers and I were working we would have fun. We would make jokes and enjoy each other’s company. The skills I gained at this job are that I need to be accountable for my work and work hard to earn my pay check. What I learned about myself is that I needed to mature and grow up.
